The story's too long. As a young man, I played with brother Billy Goodman and Steve Kimock in The Goodman Brothers, who migrated from the Philly burbs to Northern CA to play for years in the 70's.

After that disbanded, I got very involved with MESA/Boogie for many years, went to Nashville for many years, and worked for years with my entrepreneurial brother Jon, from Miami Beach to Shanghai. Always writing songs, always playing, sometimes performing.

I did go to Germany to play with brother Billy for 18 months after The Goodman Brothers duo CD Crooked Smile (with Bobby Vega on bass) got four stars in the German Rolling Stone.
Duck Holland and I hooked up in Nashville in 2007. I taught her some bass after she had a stroke, and she wanted to gig. She got me performing again, now we have a good quintet in Portland, OR. We put out a CD called The First 21 with some of Portland's finest players. Late Bloomer is a CD where I did the vocals and rhythm guitar in Portland and sent the files to my close friend Thomm Jutz, in Nashville. His all-star stable of players and singers did their thing and sent it back to me to record the vocals and guitar again, this time with the band. That was a real fun way to do it, and it turned out great.
